The First Descendant Winter Festival

Following its next update on December 5, The First Descendant will kick off the Winter Festival Event, consisting of several smaller events. The Winter Festival is broken up into four events that take place in-game in the looter-shooter and two web-based events.

The in-game events consist of the Festival Beginning Login Event, the Descendant’s Year-end Celebration, the Winter Festival Attendance Check, and Anais’s Token Exchange Shop. The login event is exactly what it sounds like, players log in and they get something. In this case, they’ll receive the “Festival Light” title. Logging in will also earn players Tokens that can be used to purchase items in Anais’s Token Exchange Shop.

The Attendance Check also rewards players for logging in, with different rewards being offered based on the number of days players have logged in during the event between December 5 and January 8.

Of course, at least one event would require players to do something other than log in. That would be the Descendant’s Year-end Celebration. Over a period of four weeks, players will need to complete specific challenges, with the challenge changing each week. Completing each challenge will earn players a specific reward.

As for the web events, one will reward players with Ultimate Weapon Materials, Crystallization Catalysts, and other goodies. The other is a Twitch Drop event. Players need to watch an hour-and-a-half of The First Descendant Livestream between December 5 and January 1 to receive all the rewards. Details on each of the events and all the available rewards can be found on The First Descendant’s site.
