The Finale To The Elder Scrolls Online’s “Gates Of Oblivion” Storyline Is Here
The year-long story concludes with an “action packed 20-hour finale”.
It’s been just about a year since The Elder Scrolls Online’s “Gates of Oblivion” story kicked off and now – as with all things – it’s time for it to come to an end. That ending begins today for players on PC, Mac, and Stadia (and on November 16 for those playing on Xbox One, Series X|S, or PlayStation 4 or 5) with the arrival of the Deadlands DLC Game Pack.
The new 20-hour DLC takes players to the Deadlands to close the Gates of Oblivion and take on the Prince of Destruction. Of course, it’s not just a matter of fighting the prince and shutting the gates. There’s other work to do – such as uncovering a new Walking Flame plot to use the infernal cataclyst device to transform Daedra into Incarnates. Players will also explore the city of Fargrave and the realm of Oblivion. Of course, along the way, they’ll make new friends and collect plenty of new souvenirs.
For those who played The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Deadlands may be a bit of a walk down memory lane. That said, the DLC doesn’t just pull from the classic game, but adds plenty of new material as well.
It’s also worth noting that Deadlands will also introduce the new Armory system. Players may now swap character builds from their Homestead using the free Armory Station available in the Crown Store.
To pick up the Deadlands DLC, players will need to hit up the Crown Store. Of course, it’s available to ESO Plus subscribers for free.
