The Final Descendant's Final Technical Test Is Open To Anyone Who Wants To Play On Steam This Weekend
All the dates and times you need to get one last foray in NEXON's upcoming looter-shooter.
Summer draws ever closer and that means the launch of NEXON's looter-shooter The First Descendant is nigh. Yeah, we still don't know the exact date yet. Just Summer 2024 still.
That said, if you really want to get your hands on the game (or back on the game if you've taken part in earlier tests), the final technical test is now slated for this weekend, May 25th through the 26th. Anyone that wants to play can do so, however, the test will only be available on Steam.
In addition to the normal testing fun, this final tech test will show off the new endgame content and additional field events added as a result of player feedback. Void Fragments are public field events that you can join in and gain bonus rewards, but you'll want to make sure you are using a Descendant with an attribute that matches the Void Fragment's attribute.
Added with Void Fragments is the Void Fusion Reactor content. Again, adding more field events, these are bosses that can be spawned using void shards. Don't worry, though, if you don't have the void shards on you, it seems you can just wait for someone else to spawn the bosses and hop on into the fight.
The First Descendant continues to be a game we're looking forward to, even though it is NEXON, and if you are too, check out the requirements and timing for the tech test. Pre-download begins 24 hours ahead of the test.
