ESO Update 45

Last month, The Elder Scrolls Online team showcased some of the things players can expect in the MMORPG’s next update during a livestream. This included things like refreshed starter zones, new dungeons, and an improved base mount speed. That said, there’s still more for players to look forward to when the update drops in March – mostly in the form of quality-of-life changes.

Today, the devs shared a blog post highlighting more of the things players can expect from Update 45. Among these are improvements to Craft Champion Points. Once players hit level 50, they’re going to find the Craft constellation system works a bit differently and now has empty slots available. This is due to some stars now being permanently active, so players don’t have to worry about messing with them.

The post also discusses what the devs have done to clean up Tamriel’s map. For one thing, wayshrines no longer cover the map, which means it should be easier to find literally everything else. Another quality-of-life change players can expect is that disguises required for certain quests are now a permanent collectible in the completion rewards. This means inventory space won’t be taken up. Other quality-of-life changes are listed in the post on The Elder Scrolls Online site. As the update is still a bit out, it’s likely we’ll see more posts like this detailing things players can expect when it drops.

Expect the full Update 45 reveal when The Elder Scrolls Online fires up their stream for the full showcase on April 10th.
