The Elder Scrolls Online Reveals "Golden Pursuits," A New Reward System Coming In Update 44
The idea is for players to have extra incentive to try out various systems and features.
When The Elder Scrolls Online’s Update 44 hits PC and Mack on October 28 (November 13 for consoles) it will introduce a new reward system intended to encourage players to try out new things in the MMORPG. Titled Golden Pursuits, the system highlights different activities in the game and supports various events. Basically, they want players to engage with content they otherwise might not.
Unlike the preset Daily Login Rewards, Golden Pursuits will be more varied, including the difficulty level of the activities, the types of rewards, and the duration of a Golden Pursuits campaign. They will happen when they happen, with days, weeks, or even months in between events. They will, however, appear on the Announcement Panel and in the Group and Activity Finder when running, so players don’t have to worry about missing them.
