The Elder Scrolls Online Devs Share 10 Things That Excite Them About The Gold Road Update
It’s the 10th Anniversary, so of course they chose ten reasons.
As the Elder Scrolls Online team prepares for the launch of the Gold Road update, they’re still celebrating the MMORPG’s 10th Anniversary at various events around the world. Of course, the big one was recently held in Amsterdam. While there, they hosted a panel where they shared “10 unique reasons they’re excited” for Gold Road.
Members of the panel included Senior Community Manager Gina Bruno, Art Director CJ Grebb, Scribing Lead Kira Ross Schlitt, Lead Encounter Designer Mike Finnigan, and Zone Lead Ed Stark.
During the 40-minute panel, they discussed how Gold Road goes back to Oblivion – only in multiplayer and hundreds of years before – and all the things that tie the two games together. They also note characters players will come across and discuss art, mechanics, and more.
The full panel can be watched below. Just note it was in front of an audience, so you might hear them from time to time, and the closed captioning is being a bit wild.
