The Elder Scrolls Online Is Currently Free-To-Play For A Limited Time
New accounts will receive 500 crowns, and there's a temporary XP boost of 100%.
If you’re interested in checking out The Elder Scrolls Online, now’s your chance to hit the MMORPG for free for a bit.
With the QuakeCon 2023 Free Play Event, anyone can try ESO for free on PC/Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation until August 21. It’s just the base game though, which includes four character classes, 24 zones, and PvP modes like Battlegrounds and Alliance War. The event also grants access to the Necrom Prologue, a free quest leading into the latest ESO Chapter, Shadow Over Morrowind.
Players can pick up where they left off after the Free Play Event concludes, and new accounts receive 500 crowns for the in-game Crown Store. For an extra incentive, an XP boost of 100% will be active from August 10 to 15. Both the ESO base game and the new Necrom Chapter are on limited-time sale, too.
