The Minstrel's Had Their Way: The Eden Ultimate Is Now Available In Final Fantasy XIV
It’s time to see what twisted things the Wandering Minstrel has come up with this time.
Once again, the Wandering Minstrel has listened to our stories of battle and thought to himself, “Ah… But what if I could make it worse?” Now, here we are with Final Fantasy XIV’s 7.11 patch, which introduces the Future Rewritten Ultimate fight to the MMORPG. The new duty re-envisions the Eden raids for those who really enjoy suffering. Of course, that suffering does get you shiny new weapons and a new title, all of which are listed in the latest patch notes.
To unlock Futures Rewritten, players must have completed AAC Light-heavyweight M4 (Savage). Only then will the Wandering Minstrel deign to speak with you in Tuliyollal. Once players have successfully completed the new Ultimate, they may exchange their Oracle Totem to Uah’shepya in Solution Nine for a shiny new Edenmorn weapon.
While the primary focus of the 7.11 patch is the Ultimate, it also brings some general changes with it. Several Jobs have received buffs or nerfs in PvP, and a new New Game+ entry has been added for the Dawntrail role quests prologue. Details on these changes are available in the patch notes.
