The Earthseer Lara Is Finally Available To Play In MapleStory
Explore Lara’s story beginning today.
Although technically part of MapleStory’s November update, On Air, the game’s latest playable character has remained unavailable until today. Now, players can begin their journey as the Anima Mage from Grandis, with the support of her mountain spirit friends.
Lara makes use of both a wand and an ornament as well as her friends, the land spirits, in combat. She is able to pull from essence from the earth to power her abilities and as she levels can even read the earth to discover the largest veins of the essence. Her attacks aren’t limited to one elemental type and range from surging water to volcanic bombs – all of which rely on her elemental friends to execute.
As with all new characters, Lara’s arrival includes events intended to help players get the most out of playing her – particularly an Adventure Support Event that will offer boosts as players work to level to 220. As players reach certain milestones, they’ll receive not only items, but bonus stats that will definitely make life easier. Details on this event, as well as Lara’s full roster of abilities, are available on the MapleStory site.
