The Day Before Announces Beta, Promises The Game Is Coming Back To Steam, And Will Release On Time
More promises from a game that hasn't shown much.
Amid a copyright suit from someone claiming to own the name "The Day Before", the game's developers are still pushing into Beta, promising the game will return to Steam, and looking towards a 2023 release.
PCGamesN reports that an admin named 'Kentain' posted the following on the official The Day Before Discord server:
“We understand that many of you have been eagerly waiting for the release of this game, and we want to thank you for your patience and support throughout the development process. We have been working hard to ensure that the game meets our high standards, and we are confident that it will be worth the wait
“As we get closer to the release date, we will be conducting a beta test for the game. This will give players the opportunity to try out the game before it is released and provide valuable feedback that we can use to improve the final product.”
Kentain goes on to say that the game "should be on Steam", and reaffirms The Day Before's launch date of November 10th "without further delay".
I, for one, will believe it when I see it. That doesn't even mention the lackluster gameplay that has been shown thus far bringing into question the state the game is in even if it does actually release.
