The Cycle: Frontier Is Kicking Off Two-Week Pre-Season Before Its Official Launch In June
And you'll get to keep your hard-earned progress when the game goes live!
After a very successful yet daunting second Closed Beta, Yager has announced a two-week pre-season starting on June 8 for The Cycle: Frontier. Following the pre-season will be the full release of the multiplayer shooter, which begins with the official 1st season on June 22.
Thankfully, Yager has ensured that players won't lose any progress between the pre-season and Season One. When June 8 rolls around, fans will be able to play a more "refined" experience due to their feedback from Closed Beta 2. Many weapons and progression systems have been balanced, with improvements to "enemy AI, changes to the landscapes, and even a brand new PvE dungeon."
Character customization will also become available in the pre-season. However, the "Fortuna Pass," a roster of cosmetics players can earn, will launch a bit later with Season One. Starter packs will be 25% off during the pre-season if you're interested in getting those rewards at a bargain price. Additionally, vanity items earned in the first version of The Cycle will be in the game soon. Yager put together a detailed blog for veteran players wondering what will carry over.
Whether you're a Steam or Epic Games Store player, The Cycle: Frontier will be on both services. Veteran players will need to go through the EGS but can account link the service to play on their platform of choice.
