The Best Ever, Most Appropriate Crossover Is Coming To World Of Warships
I don’t know why they didn’t think of this sooner.
Of all the possible World of Warships crossover events, it’s taken Wargaming a while to announce the absolutely perfect one. That’s right, everyone’s favorite pipe-smoking, spinach-eating, Olive Oil saving sailor is coming to the game. Today, Wargaming announced the Popeye the Sailor Man crossover event in support of World Ocean Month. We think he’d approve.
This event is part of a charity effort – the details of which will be announced once everything is ready. During World Ocean Month (June), Wargaming will be offering the Popeye Charity Bundle to players. The bundle will include Popeye and Bluto as in-game commanders, complete with voiceovers, flags, and unique camo for the Tier VII USS Colorado.
World Ocean Month is an annual event intended to celebrate the ocean – because it’s kinda neat. It’s also intended to raise environmental awareness for the ecosystem.
