The Beans Have Arrived In Final Fantasy XIV...So Have A Few Other 6.51 Goodies
Patch 6.51 kicks off the Fall Guys event, adds the new Criterion Dungeon, brings the next step of the Splendorous Tools.
Happy Halloween everyone. It’s October 31 and that means Square Enix has dropped the 6.51 patch in Final Fantasy XIV. That also means the weird little Gold Saucer crossover with Fall Guys is underway and players can stumble their way to all kinds of goodies. Included on the item list is a new outfit, a rhino-ish mount, minions, housing items, and more.
The MMORPG's update also takes players to a far-away island with the game's latest Variant/Criterion dungeon. Aloalo Island contains all kinds of mysteries for players to solve. As with the previous Variant dungeon, players can take on this challenge alone or with some friends. It’s not necessary to complete the other Variants in order to attempt this one. However, players will need to have completed the main scenario quest “A Satrap’s Duty”.
For PvP players, a new Crystalline Conflict season is underway and a new sandy arena has been added to the mix. Watch out for the critters that lurk in the sand. Paladin, Ninja, and Sage players will also be happy to know that they’ve received some buffs as well.
And for the crafters and gatherers, we’re one step closer to completing the Splendor weapons and helping Grenoldt with his romantic life. As always, patch notes detailing all of this and more are available on the XIV site.
