Summer has already started in the Middle-earth MMORPG.

The annual Midsummer Festival event starts today in The Lord of the Rings Online, featuring the Grand Wedding of Arwen and Aragorn. It takes place in Midsummer, a special instance of Minas Tirith. Players can obtain a map to Minas Tirith by completing the quest "The Festival of Midsummer Has Arrived!" or by using Swift-travel from various locations across Middle-earth.

Once players get to Midsummer, they must find Faeleth and complete the quests "In Celebration of Midsummer," "A Fondness for Festivity," and "The Majesty of Midsummer." These quests have multiple stages and offer rewards. Additionally, there are Deeds that can be completed during the event for unique seasonal rewards.

Also, there’s the wedding ceremony between Arwen and Aragorn, which is part of Volume V, Book 1 of the Epic Story. Players can start this questline by speaking with King Elessar outside the Tower of Ecthelion in Minas Tirith. The wedding ceremony itself takes place in Chapter 7: A Wedding at Midsummer.

Outside of Minas Tirith, event-related quests can be found in Bree-town, Celondim, Duillond, The Party Tree, and Thorin's Hall. Players can earn Midsummer Festival Tokens by completing quests and exchange them for various rewards: consumables, housing decorations, emotes, pets, mounts, cosmetic items, and musical instruments. However, keep in mind there is a token cap of 250, and players will stop earning tokens until they spend some of them.
