The Adventure Continues In Tural With The Launch Of Final Fantasy XIV’s Crossroads Update Today
New story content, the FFXI alliance raid, and the first of Dawntrail’s society quests are all available to unlock.
Today, Square Enix released Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.1, continuing the MMORPG’s main storyline with the “Crossroads” entry and launching the first of the Final Fantasy XI alliance raid series, Echoes of Vana’diel. The update also kicks off the Pelu Pelu society quests - offering players an additional way to level their combat jobs from 90 to 100 - and makes a host of changes to various game functions. This includes implementing the ability to change your housing interior and the addition of a minimalist interior style.
Of course, the update also includes class changes, most of which seem to be buffs. Maximum HP for all jobs has been increased, too. That said, PvP class changes are a mix of buffs and debuffs, but that’s more or less to be expected with competitive content.
Speaking of PvP, Series 7 is underway as of today. It will last until Patch 7.2 drops and rewards include a new minion, an emote, new gear, and the obligatory framer’s kits. Patch notes detailing the changes in the update are available on the Lodestone.
