TGS 2023: Wayfinder Teases New Lion-Warrior Grendel In Trailer By “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse” Co-Director
Grendel arrives later this Fall.
Wayfinder may not be officially launching until next year, but Early Access players already have something new to look forward to. Digital Extremes and Airship Syndicate shared a fancy new anime-inspired trailer at the Tokyo Game Show introducing the game’s next Wayfinder; a large, menacing ferocious, lion-like creature named Grendel. Armed with a giant axe, Grendel seeks vengeance against the enemies of Evenor.
The trailer, seen below, is the work of “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” Co-Director Joaquim dos Santos and his team. It highlights the game’s first non-human character, something players have been asking for. Judging from the comments on Twitter, players do seem pretty excited about it.
Awesome, he looks so badass, love him already :)
