Terror Reigns From The Skies In Season 3 Of The Cycle: Frontier
The new Howler monster can fly, and it's terrifying!
Flying enemies are coming in Season 3 of The Cycle: Frontier in the form of the new Howler PvE monster. It's big, it's bad, and it's ugly. The world of Fortuna III just became more dangerous, and survival will depend on your ability to adapt.
The Howler is so big and bad in fact, that only one will spawn on the map at a time, and if you're unlucky enough to get its attention, it could be lights out. Even if you manage to whittle away at the Howler's health, it becomes more dangerous at 50%, unleashing a sonic attack on everyone in line of sight before becoming even more aggressive and dangerous.
You can watch the developers discuss this new menace coming to The Cycle: Frontier, as well as a quick synopsis of the other enemies you will face in the video below.
Season 3 is also bringing improvements to matchmaking, new campaign quests to investigate the origins of the Howler, and free loadout runs that let players drop to the surface with free basic gear of their choice and you then keep whatever they find as long as they evacuate safely.
Season 3 of The Cycle: Frontier comes to Steam and the Epic Game Store on March 29.
