TennoCon 2017 Doubles Attendees Over Last Year, Results In $150,000 Charitable Donation
This past weekend, Digital Extremes held its annual Warframe convention TennoCon in London, Ontario, playing host to over 2,000 fans. Offering Warframe players panels, workshops, a live Twitch stream, and activities (such as a Warframe themed escape room and a cosplay contest,) the convention also served as a platform to announce the open world addition to the game -- Landscapes.
Due to the increased attendance, Digital Extremes will be doubling the donation to their official charitable partner, Covenant House Toronto to $150,000. Covenant House Toronto provides education, counseling, healthcare, employment assistance, training, and other services to at-risk and homeless youth.
If you missed out on TennoCon and would like to catch up, the Warfame team posted a recap of the weekend's activities on their site.
