TCG Dragon Evo Officially Launches With "Frozen Fish" Update Tomorrow
Dragon Evo, the TCG with RPG elements, is slipping out of early access/beta and into full-blown live mode. With the launch of update 1.0 (otherwise known as "Frozen Fish") tomorrow, the game officially launches.
The update is filled with all kinds of fixes and changes, including a list of new features that include the attack-back system, a new ranking system, clans, and more. The attack-back system is an automated system that causes a card that is under attack to fight back on its own, using the card's main function. Of course, if the card is a melee card being attacked by a range card, there's not a lot it can do to fight back.
Another important change to the game involves how players acquire heroes. During early access, new heroes were only available at the beginning of the game. Now, players can purchase them in-game for Adaptorite (instead of real money).
Players will also be interested to know that the deck builder has received a complete overhaul. Speaking of decks, players will also have more opportunity to flesh theirs out as card packs can now be obtained by simply playing the game. In addition to that, a new free pack will be released every four hours.
Of course, there are plenty of other changes with this update -- new cards, fixes, and all that jazz. These can be perused on the Dragon Evo site.
