Tarisland Continues To Remove Gender-Locking, New Teaser Shows Off The Shiny New Female Paladin
Players seem happy they’re getting some of the stuff they’re asking for.
In today’s multiplayer gaming space, it always seems a little odd when developers make the decision to gender-lock classes. When it comes to MMORPG-type games, it’s even annoying, as players often expect to be able to customize their character to their specifications. Tarisland having been designed with minimal customization and gender-locked classes has been a bit of a thorn in potential players' sides. After all, if you’re going to be living in the world with other players, you typically want your character to represent you.
Players have made this clear to Level Infinite, who it seems has been listening and working to meet expectations – although, perhaps not as quickly as some would like. Today, the development team dropped the first Tarisland’s dual-gender class full reveal, the female Paladin. The team showed a short clip on Twitter.
Based on the replies, it seems most players are happy that they’re being listened to on this topic. Although, one player did ask when they could expect the female warrior. Considering this is the first reveal, we’re sure more are on their way.
