In Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked, which is live now, players of the MOBA find themselves amidst the vast expanse of the wasteland — a newly formed biome dominated by the formidable "Wasteland Warriors." These marauders, led by skilled mechanics and powerful fighters, have established their presence across various locations, including the Redline Rig, Nitrodrome, and Brutal Beachhead. The wasteland, teased in the launch trailer, introduces new challenges and opportunities, with Nitro being a central element enhancing both vehicular and player capabilities.
Nitro offers speed boosts and enhanced ramming powers. And players can pimp their rides with vehicle mods like machine gun turrets, grenade launchers, and spiked bumpers. These modifications enhance offensive capabilities, plus provide strategic advantages in combat scenarios.
Chapter 5 Season 3 introduces the Wrecked Battle Pass as well, offering wasteland-themed rewards that include outfits inspired by the Wasteland Warriors and other dwellers of the wasteland. This season concludes on August 16.
