SWTOR's June Events Include Bounty Week, Swoops Rally, Rakghoul Resurgence, And More
Sure, BioWare runs events to celebrate various holidays in the Star Wars: The Old Republic universe, such as Life Day. But most of the time, it just does events ... well, because. Makes you wonder why they even bother with the fancy holidays.
The events for June were just made public, and they include Bounty Contract Week, running from now until the 8th, where you can complete up to two contracts -- one Henchman and one Kingpin -- every day, the latter provided you've done at least five of the former. From June 15–22, the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally returns, bringing races to three planets.
At the end of the month, the events bleed into July, with the Rakghoul Resurgence on Tatooine going from June 29 to July 6 and a double XP event running from June 29 to July 13. The first sees The Hyland Organization for Rakghoul Neutralization (T.H.O.R.N.) enact a quarantine on the desert planet, which sounds a little too close to reality these days. The second ... well, you shouldn't need an explanation for that.
In the very long term, there's the Nar Shaddaa Nightlife event running from June 29 all the way to August 10, which will bless "high-rollers or those touched by Lady Luck" with fabulous prizes. Just be wary of Jedi using the Force to manipulate dice, the way Qui-Gon did to win Anakin's freedom.
All events begin and end at 5:00 a.m. Pacific time on their respective days. Learn more about June's events on the Star Wars: The Old Republic site.
