SWTOR Players Have Slaughtered Billions, Show No Remorse
Maybe we should have held off on doing a Stat of the Day until after BioWare posted a big infographic about Star Wars: The Old Republic. We'll blame Yoda for not teaching us more about seeing the future.
As I was told during my press tour last week for Shadow of Revan, the SWTOR team tracks a lot of numbers, and they're all on display in this new info dump, right down to the exact number of players of each class: 6,128,504 of my highest-level class, the Republic trooper. Over 57 million characters have been created altogether, along with over 1.7 billion kills in PvP, about 6.8 million ships, and 635 million hours of total playtime.
Four billion NPCs have also met their end, which is double the population of Alderaan at the time when Grand Moff Tarkin blew it up. That's a lot of voices to cry out and suddenly be silenced. I hope you can all live with yourselves, you murderers.
