SWTOR’s October Calendar Is Filled With Pirates, Feasts, And More
There are a lot of rewards on the line, too!
Bioware has posted the October event calendar for Star Wars: The Old Republic, and it looks like players may have their hands full. To start with, players will be headed to Dantooine where the Nova Blade pirates are staging an attack. Depending on which side they’re on, players will either defend the planet under the banner of the Republic or make the most of the chaos as the Empire. For taking part in the event during the period between October 5 and October 12, players will be rewarded with new armor sets, companions, mounts, a mini-pet, and more.
Following the pirate event is the Feast of Prosperity. Whose prosperity is questionable since it’s being hosted by a couple of members of the Hutt Cartel; Gaboorga and Duuba. They’re trying to give the Cartel’s image a bit of a boost by hosting a “charitable banquet” for the underprivileged. Between October 12 and November 2, a new story quest revolving around this feast will unlock each week, leading up to week three when the face of the feast is decided.
If you’ve participated in this event before, then you don’t have to worry about all that and will just go straight to the mini-games and dailies. That said, there will be rewards, including a new armor set and new decorations.
In addition to those events, players can also look forward to a Double XP event beginning October 12, and a Bounty Contract Week starting October 19.
