SWTOR’s Feast Of Prosperity And Ultimate Swoop Rally Kick Off Today
They’re just part of the game’s January events.
There’s a lot of stuff going on in Star Wars: The Old Republic right now. Of course, you SWTOR fans already know about the 10-year anniversary event that will run until this time in 2023 and has been going for a while already. But today, two more events are kicking off.
With the ending of the Life Day holiday event, room has been made for the Feast of Prosperity and the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally. Both events mean more rewards and more things to do – although one involves more zipping around on dangerous vehicles while the other involved a big banquet intended to improve the reputation of two of the Hutts. In both cases, there are mounts, pets, gear, decorations, and other items to be had. The Feast also includes emotes and toys in its list of rewards.
To participate in the Feast of Prosperity, players need to be at least level 20. Then, they can pick up the story mission and help Gaboorga the Abundant and Duuba the Magnanimous put together a “charitable banquet” that will likely help them more than the galaxy’s poor. Of course, it’s unlikely these two will remain allies for long, so players will probably want to decide early on who they’re going to side with. The Feast runs through the rest of the month, ending on February 1.
For those looking for something a little more sporty and a little less schmoozy, then the Swoop Rally is what you’ll want to look into. This also requires players to be level 20 and it lasts just a week – ending on January 18. Get in there and take part before it comes to an end.
While we’re here, also mark your calendars for January 25. That’s when the Rakghoul Resurgence on Tatooine returns. Of course, there are rewards for participating in that as well.
