Swordsman: Gilded Wasteland Expansion Release Date Reveal
October continues to be a busy month in the gaming world and free-to-play games are no exception. Adding to the list of Free MMORPGs that will be expanding this month, Perfect World Entertainment has announced that its Wuxia inspired title, Swordsman, will receive the anticipated Gilded Wasteland expansion on October 23rd.
Based on the universe created in the award winning novels by Louis Cha, Swordsman:Gilded Wasteland adds more than just a level cap increase from 89 to 94. The expansion features new areas, 3 new instances and 3 new adventure zones, a new cross server battlegrounds feature, and even new abilities for your companions to use in some of the exciting PvP Swordsman has in store.
Not familiar with the title or maybe just haven't played in a while? Then you'll be interested to know that even the leveling curve has been adjusted. Not only does this allow new players and alts to learn the ropes of the game, it also allows your characters to level up faster so you can get your butt into the high level PvP and PvE content the expansion adds.
You want more? Ok, how about new silver and gold celestial weapons, a new gear slot, tons of new pets and mounts, and..yeah there's a lot. Check out the new trailer above and if you want to jump in to get ready for the Gilded Wasteland expansion you can get started right here.
