Survival Game V Rising Has Sold Over 500,000 Copies In 3 Days During Early Access
And has a glowing list of positive reviews from fans and critics!
Vampire survival game V Rising has recently sold over 500,000 copies during its Early Access, all within just a few days!
Swedish game developer Stunlock Studios announced the metrics of sold copies today. From May 17 to now, over half a million copies have gone flying into the hands of players on Steam, and that number will likely climb even higher after a week at this rate. With a starting price of $19.99, the threshold to try the game out is relatively low compared to AAA prices but still an impressive feat for a studio still buffing out the kinks before a full release.
Critics and fans have showered the game with positive reviews as well. Rock Paper Shotgun was "really impressed" and went from being "skeptics to obsessed" with the vampire title. PCGamesN claims it's "an immediate hit on Steam," while Dexerto says that "combat is fluid and watching your [castle] grow is incredibly satisfying." Most fans are in the same camp as various video game media outlets, saying the "game is a steal" and is "well constructed" on Steam. And as of now, V Rising sits with a Very Positive review score overall.
