Super Bomberman R Online Going F2P On PS4, XB1, Switch, and PC
Free-to-play Super Bomberman R Online was made exclusive for the Stadia last year, but with that console's future in doubt, Konami is looking to expand its player base for the classic title.
Super Bomberman R will be launching as a F2P title on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam, Konami announced via Twitter today. No time frame was given for the move.

The game currently retails for $39.99 on various non-Stadia platforms (Steam here). After going F2P, Konami will offer a $9.99 Premium Pass, which unlocks special outfits based on classic Konami games.
As we mentioned in our previous piece, the game's lack of population makes it hard to find matches for its battle royale modes, which will be expanding to include 64 players. A free-to-play move should help with that, at least in the short term.
