Summer Game Fest: New World: Aeternum Officially Announced For Consoles
We have a trailer and it’s available for preorder now.
We knew it was coming, particularly since Sony accidentally leaked it on the PlayStation Store this morning. But now it’s all official and a trailer has been shared at Summer Game Fest. Amazon’s MMORPG New World is coming to consoles as New World: Aeternum.
Interestingly, it seems that the game has been adjusted a bit for its new audience. It includes all the content from the PC version of the game but has been “enhanced” with new features. Included are the game’s first large-scale PvP zone, a 10-player raid, end-game solo trials, an improved leveling experience, and more. The game is also adjusted so that players can experience it on their own if they want but also includes online cross-platform play.
It’s also important to note that while we said it’s coming to consoles, this updated version of the game will also be available on PC as well. The standard version of the game runs $60 while the Deluxe is $80.
