Stunlock Studios Implementing Changes To V Rising Engine Prior To Launch
The 1.0 version will be far more stable and easier to update.
When V Rising launches in the second quarter of 2024, it will do so with some big improvements. These improvements will stem from the developers upgrading the foundation of their engine, making the survival game more stable and offering them the ability to do things they hadn’t been able to do before.
A new blog post on the V Rising site outlines what the team plans to be the official launch product. The plan is for them to blend the original vision of the game with what they’ve done more recently, as influenced by player feedback, and changes that need to be done over time. The developers consider this to be a complete vampire experience, but warn that that doesn’t mean the end of development.
In addition to the technical changes, the post also reveals a more chilly realm that will be added to the game. It exists beyond Hallowed Mountains. We'll also see an all-new, ultimate enemy. The post details some of the new mobs players will come across and offers insight into their development. It also offers a peek at some creatures players might encounter in the future.
