Strongholds Brings Guild Halls, New Game Mode, To Neverwinter Aug. 11
Get ready to attack and defend your personal space with the Strongholds expansion for Neverwinter, coming to PC on August 11th (with the XBox One release to be announced at a future date). Guilds will have the opportunity to claim and build up their own guild halls, which will serve as a base of operations and provide new and exciting gameplay opportunities.
Just like guild halls in most other MMOs, Neverwinter players will need to adventure in the world to acquire materials to build up their guild hall, unlocking various rewards such as loot from guild merchants and improving both individual characters and the guild as a whole. The biggest thing coming to Strongholds, though, is a 20v20 PvP game mode that pits rival guilds against each other on three-lane, MOBA-style action.
As with other Neverwinter expansions, Stronghold will be free when it launches... well, except for that pesky Xbox LIVE Gold thing.
