Today's the day, Genshin Impact update 1.5, Beneath the Light of Jadeite, has arrived, bringing with it everything teased in the Special Program. Things like the portable player housing Serenitea Pot, the continuation of Zhongli's story, more hangouts, new characters, and more.

Of course, a new update means new events. In addition to the standard banner events, miHoYo is also running a returning player event that will reward both those coming back, and those that encourage them to return with special rewards, and possibly even some real-world goodies. The only catch is that you need to have an adventure rank of at least 10 in order to be eligible. (If you've been away for a while and think you might want to do the event, but need a code. Feel free to use mine: GB8IL1LA6N )

Since today is the first day of the tea pot, miHoYo has also provided players with a small guide on how to get the most out of it. It covers things like crafting and obtaining the necessary materials to carry it out, as well as the social aspects of the Serenitea Pots.

Speaking of crafting and guides, I know that there has been a player-made map designed to help players find important items in the game for a while. But, now miHoYo has created an official once for players to use. The added benefit of miHoYo's map is that it synchs with the game and pulls any pins you've created in game into it. It also offers more precise information on the location of collectable items, including books and recipes. It does seem to be a bit sluggish where synching is involved, but I did eventually get it to pull my pins just fine.
