Starship Troopers: Extermination Updates Its 2024 Early Access Roadmap And Beyond
Lots of new stuff coming to the game this year.
Starship Troopers: Extermination continues to roll on in Early Access on Steam. They've now released an updated roadmap for the year to come that details their plans for 2024 going into 2025. The one thing I don't see is any kind of launch window, so it looks like Starship Troopers: Extermination will remain in Early Access for the foreseeable future.
In the early part of this year, the shooter is working on performance and optimization, including the addition of DLSS, FSR3, Nanite, and Lumen.
Heading into the spring, we're looking at the addition of Clans, Galactic War, the class abilities 2.0 revamp, global death counter, and new class weapons.
Summer 2024 will see a new planet added to Starship Troopers: Extermination, as well as new hive hunts and a new Galactic War Campaign.
In the fall there's another planet coming, special weapons and swapping, emotes, more gore, a boss bug, the R.A.I.D. Initiative, new bugs, new solo experiences, and new play space.
For 2025 and beyond they've listed new special weapons, new class weapons, new bugs, new playable zones, planets #5 and #6, new Galactic War campaigns, new Trooper Classes, Marauder Support, and a player hub.
Keep in mind that this is of course all subject to change over time, but as of right now this is the plan Starship Troopers: Extermination has in place.
