Starship Troopers: Extermination Patch Introduces Horde Mode And Player Profiles
It's time to kill some bugs.
Starship Troopers: Extermination is continuing along in Steam Early Access, and patch 0.4.0 is bringing the bug shooter a new game mode as well as further improvements to the game.
Horde Mode unlocks for Troopers at Career Rank 2 and is available in Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulty. Players must defend the Mobile Headquarters against 10 increasingly difficult waves of bugs in order to succeed. Each wave consists of two phases; the build phase and the defend phase.
In the build phase Troopers will have a chance to build and repair base defenses. During the defend phase you'll be (surprise, surprise) fighting off waves of bugs.
Player Profiles are now added to Starship Troopers: Extermination, allowing players to track their in-game stats. In your profile, you can view your Career Rank and XP, total hours played, total kills and revives, total mission wins, KDA, win/loss ratio, most hours played on a class, most kills with specific weapons, and most hours played in your favorite game mode.
There's also a list of quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes which you can check out on the Starship Troopers: Extermination Steam news post.
Starship Troopers: Extermination is currently available in Early Access on Steam for $29.99.
