Star Trek Online Offers Players The Chance To Pick Up The Mirror Universe Gagarin Warship In Its Most Recent Event
The Mirror Universe: Full of trouble...and cool ships.
New content is on the way for Star Trek Online, tied to the Mirror Universe. You know, that place where everyone’s just like the regular universe, only reverse and with evil facial hair? Yes. That one. Before that content arrives, however, Cryptic has an event prepared in which players can earn their very own T6 Mirror Universe Gagarin Warship.
Titled “Equal and Opposite”, the event kicks off on PC tomorrow and will run until October 14. (No date has been given for consoles yet, but players can expect it in the future.) During the event, players will need to earn 20 daily progress points by completing one of the following activities:
- New Task Force Operation: Operation: Wolf
- Task Force Operation: Counterpoint
- New Episode: Firewall
- Episode: Jabberwock
Once players have 20 daily progress they can claim the ship. Any points earned beyond that will be put towards Dilithium Ore, with industrious players being able to earn up to 50,000 a day. It’s also important to note that the first character on a player’s account to claim the Warship will also receive 8x Terran Empire Agony Phaser Weapon packs filled with useful weapons and tech.
If you’d like a little background on Operation: Wolf, there is a short story posted on the STO website that will give you an idea of what you’re about to be in for.

There's holiday events you can explore while you wait for the main course in January.
The event makes sense, as much as holiday events do, but I'm not sure about other things.
It's all in the timing, and the closer things get to being globally unified, the better.
Will this all end up being "too little, too late," though, for the "we hear you" post?
