Star Trek Online Mirror Of Discovery Hits Xbox One And PlayStation 4
Star Trek Online fans playing on consoles now have the chance to check out the game's Discovery-themed update. Starting today, they can download the update and experience the story revolving around Ensign Tilly's Mirror Universe counterpart -- lovingly dubbed Captain Killy.
Players will take on the infamous captain and her ship the I.S.S. Discovery in new missions while being able to also take on special challenges in the game's new Task Force Operation System.
The update also includes the game's 9-year anniversary event, which brings back the Omega Molecule Stabilization event. Players who participate in this event will be able to use free Omega Particle Tech upgrades and prize vouchers.
The popular Battle at the Binary Stars event is also back, this time as a Task Force Operation with Advanced and Elite modes.
In honor of the release, STO is teaming up with "For Fans By Fans" for a Mirror of Discovery challenge. Players who would like to participate can submit fan art for a chance to have it featured on officially licensed merchandise. All participants will receive a special in-game prize for STO on the PC. The top five participants will also be given an exclusive title and a code to unlock the Discovery Operations Bundle.
