Star Trek: The Next Generation Crossover Announced For World Of Warships And World Of Tanks Blitz
Get ship skins inspired by the Federation, Vulcans, Klingons, and Romulans.
In a couple of years, Star Trek will be turning 60. At this point, the IP has been used in a lot of ways, including video games. However, this is the first time that it’ll be part of a World of Warships – and World of Tanks Blitz – crossover. The crossover will bring bits of the Star Trek universe to the strategy games.
In World of Warships, players will be able to collect all kinds of goodies including four ship skins and commanders tied to the Federation, Vulcans, Klingons, and Romulans. Choose your faction and get fully voiced versions of Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Spock, Commander Sela of the Romulans, or Gowron – leader of the Klingon Empire.
Ship skins include the Enterprise D for the American aircraft carrier Enterprise, a Romulan skin for the Japanese destroyer Akatsuki, and a Klingon British light cruiser. Players can even enter the bridge of the Enterprise and get reports from the ship’s AI.
The new content will be available on August 7 in World of Warships and August 4 in World of Warships: Legends.
As for World of Tanks: Blitz, their crossover comes in the form of “Operation – Into the Unknown”. This crossover went classic with the cast of the original series. Players will be able to get avatars of the original Enterprise crew, as well as four Star Trek-inspired camouflages.Related Articles
