The Star Of Fortnite's Rift Tour Turns Out To Be Ariana Grande
At the rate they're going, Fortnite will eventually have held virtual concerts for every currently popular artist. The latest musician to be added to that collection was announced today as Epic Games continues to tease the Rift Tour, a 3-day "musical journey into magical realities". Okay, it's actually a shorter musical journey repeated five times a day for three days, but it does feature Ariana Grande, for those of you who are fans of hers.
As noted in the previous announcement, the event will be available for three days, with five different air-slots intended to make it more accessible to players in different regions. Because of the amount of times the shows will take place, Epic has created a calendar that allows players to schedule when they'll be there.
The earlier tease also highlighted some of the items that will be available as quest rewards, including the Cloud Kitty emoticon, the Rift-sterpiece spray, and more. Players who are members of the Fortnite crew can even unlock additional items by logging in any time between August 5 at 10:00 am Eastern to 10:00 am Eastern on August 8. This includes a Rainbow Cloudcruiser umbrella, the Sky up High loading screen, and a themed banner.
Of course, there are goodies in the shop as well, including an Ariana Grande outfit and a Piggy Smallz back bling.
