Star Citizen’s Ship Showdown Event Is Back And That Means A Week Of Free Access
And free access to the top 16 favorite ships in the game.
For the 6th year in a row, Cloud Imperium Games is hosting the Ship Showdon in Star Citizen. This week-long event showcases players’ favorite vehicles and ships by asking players to show off their creative works inspired by those ships. Players can then vote to determine the top four ships out of those. Players who own these ships in-game will receive a limited-edition ship paint and manufacturer’s poster.
The voting kicks off today and will last until August 22. During that time those interested in checking out the space MMORPG for themselves can do so for free. New players will also have access to the sixteen ships features in the Showdown event. To participate in the free weekend, new players can sign up via the game’s site.
