Star Citizen Kicks Off Free Weekend Alongside Invictus Launch Week
Players can try out the enhanced new player experience.
Today, Star Citizen kicks off Invictus Launch Week 2953, honoring the United Empire of Earth Navy and highlighting the new space-faring vehicles developed by aerospace and defense manufacturers.
This in-game event takes place at the Bevic Convention Center, Area 18 – where players will be able to see these ships. It also takes place alongside a free play period where those trying out the game for the first time can try out the enhanced new-player experience.
Invictus Launch Week 2953 and the Free Fly event begins today and runs through May 30. During that time, players can find all the new ships on the show floor at the convention center. These include the first vehicles of the Mirai as well as a variety of ships in the arsenal of the UEE. The full event schedule can be found on the Invictus Week site.
