Spooky Hide-And-Seek Game Midnight Ghost Hunt Now Available On Steam Early Access
Play as ghosts or ghost hunters.
PvP fans looking for something new to do are going to want to check out Vaulted Sky Games’ Midnight Ghost Hunt. No, this isn’t what you might be thinking – another imposter-style game. It is a game with ghosts and ghost hunters, but you know who is who as the two sides are broken up into teams of four. (Yeah, it’s not even a 1v4 situation.) There is still a good bit of hide-and-seek involved though. It’s kind of the point of the game.
Players will play these ghostly games of hide-and-seek in a series of cursed locations where ghosts – one team – haunt the halls and hunters – the other team –must deal with them. As ghosts, players will conceal themselves in furniture to keep the hunters at bay and use telekinetic powers to attack. The variety of objects that can be used is pretty varied, so have fun with that. Around midnight (game time) things get really crazy as the ghosts can now actually hunt the hunters. They become supercharged and able to kill.
Hunters, on the other hand, have access to all kinds of hi-tech gadgets designed for ghost hunting. Use a Spectrophone, Radar, and Pathfinder to detect the ghosts. Catch them in a trap, or blow them up with everything from a Spectral Cannon to sledgehammers. Personally, I’d opt for the Cannon, but that’s me.
If you’d like to check Midnight Ghost Hunt out today, it’s available on Steam Early Access now, for $20. There’s also an early backer bundle that includes a special pack and a soundtrack.
