Riot Games is in a festive mood, as both Legends of Runeterra and League of Legends are celebrating the Spirit Blossom Festival, which is "a celebration of life, and that which lies beyond." That covers pretty much all the bases, doesn't it?

Through Aug. 19, Legends of Runeterra players can fulfill limited-time epic quests to gain petals, progress along an event pass, and gain various rewards for their participation in the event. They can also try out the new Bestow lab and take one of six preconstructed decks for a spin in a special game mode. When one of your units dies, its stats are conferred to a random unit in your hand.

In League of Legends' take on the festival, which runs through Aug. 24, players can complete missions to earn favor with the mysterious spirits inhabiting the land and check out the reimagined Nexus Blitz. For your efforts, you'll unlock new chromas, emotes, and wards. You can also try out a couple of new champions during the event: Lillia, the Bashful Bloom, who's available now, and Yone, The Unforgotten, who hits servers Aug. 6.

Learn more about the Spirit Blossom Festival on each game's respective site: Legends of Runeterra (which also covers the changes in Update 1.6) or League of Legends.
