Soulmask’s Massive “Wild Ride” Update Introduces New Mounts And Advanced Animal Breeding
The massive update also includes new items, map events, an honor arena, and more.
Six months after CampFire Studio’s open-world survival MMORPG Soulmask entered early access, the studio has dropped a massive update including many of the things players have been asking for – and maybe some things they haven’t. Titled “Wild Ride”, the update introduces wild, new mounts and new animals for advanced animal breeding.
Two new mounts have been added to the game. The first is the elephant, which can carry some pretty massive cargo – like a platform that holds everything from your camp. Apparently, it also functions as a siege weapon. The second mount is more lightweight. Gliders use wind currents to stay aloft, with the only restriction to how far they can fly being the player’s flying skills.
Also introduced in this update are the Igniter and Gas Canister. Spray fuel on weapons and set them on fire to make things more interesting during combat.
As for animal breeding, a new “Large Beast Trap” has been introduced, allowing players to trap baby bison, giant elephants, and moose. Players can also steal giant eggs from tortoises and horned eagles and take them home to raise.
In addition to the new content in the update, a new tribe decoration pack is also available for free. Details on these items are available in the update post on Soulmask’s Steam page.
