Someone New Is Moving Into The Eville Village Already, And They're Bringing Cursed Dolls
Looks a bit sus.
VestGames’ social deduction game Eville already has a lot of questionable characters running around in it, but despite the game only recently launching, that hasn’t stopped the devs from adding more.
Today, the developer announced a new content update that will introduce a suspicious new character to the mix, The Ritualist. The update also adds a new item for Conspirator ghosts and a new vendor item.
The Ritualist’s arrival brings a bit of voodoo to Eville as this character has the ability to craft Cursed Dolls and bind them to other players. This will allow them to do all kinds of unsavory things to the player in question, including stealing their life essence. They can even go a step further and sacrifice the doll to make a Dark Idol that can then be used to tie their own life to that of the chosen player. This means that any damage taken by the Ritualist is shared with any players tied to the dark idol.
As for the item for Ghost conspirators, that would be the Poltergeist. This summons an actual poltergeist that can deal AoE damage to anyone around it until it’s removed by a ghost. It will also stalk living players. The only players that are safe from it are the Conspirators.
The new item is pretty basic – a simple Herbal Tea. This is a health regen item that will restore 50 health over a period of 60 seconds. The update also includes quality-of-life fixes, like allowing players to abandon quests.
