Smite Offers Juneteenth And Father's Day Avatars As Rewards
Smite players who want to add a little more variety to their (probably already pretty large) collection of avatars can add a couple of new ones to their lineup starting today. Titan Forge Games announced today via Twitter that players can obtain special Juneteenth and Father's Day avatars for winning a couple of games. The Juneteenth avatar will be awarded on the first win of the day, while the Father's Day avatar is for the second win of the day.
Both avatars are pretty spiffy looking. The Juneteenth is a painted heart in green, gold, and red, while the Father's day avatar is Odin sipping out of his #1 Dad mug.
Based on the tweet, today might be the only day to obtain either of these avatars... either that or there's a typo. It reads "from today until Friday" and... well... Friday is in fact today. So, if you want either of them, you might want to get a few games in.
Play to Win!
From today until Friday, your (1st) First win of the day will reward you the Juneteenth Avatar.
Your (2nd) first win of the day will reward you the Father's Day Avatar.

For those who might not be familiar with Juneteenth (I know people were asking what it was on Smite's announcement.), here's the Wikipedia link. It'll do a much better job of explaining it than we would in a gaming blog. It is worth noting that as of this past week, it's now an official holiday in the US, which is probably a big reason Titan Forge added it.
