Smite Odyssey 10.9

Update 10.9 in SMITE is shaping up to be a big one. It will bring back the Odyssey event, this year titled Immortal Revelry. With that comes a new Season: The Season of Celebration.

Bringing visual changes to the SMITE Conquest map has become a tradition with the changing of seasons, and it will be no different this time. New environment art, jungle path and lane shape changes, and new objectives are all on the menu this time around.

The Fire Giant pit has been reworked to be more open and allow more movement and opportunities for steals.

The Shaman camp is replacing the back Harpy camp between Red and Blue buff on the Fire Giant side of the map. After an initial Harpy camp spawn, the next 5 respawns will be Shaman camps. These Shaman camps will grant a random buff each time including 10% CDR, 5% Pen, 10% attack speed, 7% lifesteal, or 10% health/mana.

The Stygian Beacon capture objective will remain in the game with some small tweaks to the buff that include increased max stacks from 3 to 6, removal of the movement speed buff, and the addition of 1% physical and magical power per stack.

SMITE is also adding a new item called Recipes to the game. They will be acquired alongside starter items. Players will need to complete objectives to level them up, and at the third stage, they will provide a passive effect depending on which recipe you've selected.

There are of course also a ton of item and god balance changes coming along with this patch, and you can read the full patch notes on the official SMITE site.

Plenty of new skins are also a part of any new Odyssey event. You can check out all the new skins coming to SMITE in update 10.9 in the video below.
