SMITE Introduces New God Fafnir, The Lord Of Glittering Gold
A new god joins the ranks of the Norse pantheon in SMITE today -- Fafnir, the Lord of Glittering Gold. Fafnir is a Guardian-class god with an ultimate that transforms him into a giant poison-breathing dragon.
Being a greedy god, Fafnir features a passive that earns him 4 bonus gold from minions, structures, kills, and assists. It also grants him protection based on the amount of gold in his possession.
Fafnir's other abilities receive bonus stats when he is in dragon form, particulary damage-causing abilities.
All the details on the new god are available in the latest patch notes for the free-to-play MOBA, along with the introduction of some new skins and general housekeeping changes.
