SMITE Hits 10 Million Milestone; Gives Away Herc Voice Pack
SMITE, the free to play MOBA from Hi-Rez Studios, has hit the 10 million players milestone. Of course that doesn't mean that 10 million people are actively playing at this moment, but still, having had 10 million unique people try out your game is an impressive feat in a genre as crowded as the MOBA market is today.
Want to get in on celebrating the milestone? Hi-Rez Studios is reviving the original Hercules character model from SMITE’s early PC beta days as an all-new “Retro Herc” skin on both PC and Xbox One. Anyone who wins 10 PvP matches in August will unlock Hercules as a playable god, along with the Hercules retro skin and a new Hercules voice pack featuring Kevin Sorbo, the star of TV’s Hercules: The Legendary Journeys – all for free.
It's a nice touch for fans that have played since beta and a bit of nostalgia for any of you out there that used to watch Sorbo on the TV show...even if he CLEARLY didn't score that Penta kill in the video. :)
