Slayer Links Give Dauntless Players A Real Reason To Team Up
Phoenix Labs introduced a new, friend-focused feature to Dauntless today. The new feature -- Slayer Links -- allows players to forge 7-day links with each other which then rewards them for playing and earning Hunt Pass XP together.
Players can have up to three Slayer Links active at any time. You'll want to, too. As it turns out, Slayer Link rewards are not the same across the board. They're unique to each link, which means players can receive different rewards for every active link they have.
Each link can unlock up to four rewards -- which means a player with three active links can earn as many as twelve. To receive all the rewards, players will need to "charge" their links by partying with the people they're linked with. Among the various rewards available to players is a special Crown of Friendship unique to the Slayer Link system. Since this is a rare item, players who really want to acquire it could be grinding for a while.
