Skyforge's Migration To 4game Hits Issues That Will Take The Game Offline All Weekend
This led to a pretty brutal (but funny!) reply on their Facebook page.
Earlier this week I reported on the previously-delayed migration of MMORPG Skyforge from MY.GAMES to Innovo's 4game platform. After having delayed that migration to an unspecified future date last year, the team returned months later with just 24 hours' notice for players that hadn't yet migrated their account.
The outage for this migration was supposed to last about 30 hours with the game going dark on the 27th then coming back up late on the 28th.
All has not gone according to plan, though.
Apparently, the team hit a few snags along the way and that maintenance period is being extended...pretty substantially. Now the game will be offline until later on Monday March 3rd.
I'm sure that isn't exactly welcome news to Skyforge players, but the announcement, which again comes weirdly on the Facebook page but no other socials or the site itself yet as of this writing, did lead to the best laugh I had today so far.
Check out the brutal but hysterical reply from a commenter below.
